Bringing people together through food
“If you really want to make a friend, go to someone’s house and eat with him… the people who give you their food give you their heart” Cesar Chavez – civil rights activist
Each year the Soil Association run two campaigns and the month of November is “Cook and Share” or Food for Life “Get togethers” It is aimed at EVERYONE! We all eat right?! It doesn’t need to be about established community groups but also neighbours and family and friend gatherings. People, food, connection and conversation. Simple.
Why get involved?
Well theres a number of reasons but right now how uplifting would it be to focus on connection, community and positivity?
It doesn’t have to be a lavish affair. This is about coming together with good intentions around sharing food, friendship, conversation and connection.
